I presume it’s pronounced ego‑ist‑ta, not ee‑goi‑sta.

My initial reaction was that it’s as ugly as the Veneno, but the longer I look at it, the more I’m okay with the looks. Well, more okay than the Veneno anyway. The canopy does remind me of the Maserati Birdcage concept too, so that’s a bonus.

Judging by eye, the wheelbase looks like it’s shorter than the Aventador. Maybe it’s based on the Sesto. Or it could be based on the unannounced Gallardo replacement. After all, this does have a V10 rather than a V12.

If it is, then it’s kinda clever actually. With the Veneno, it came after the Aventador, so people rightfully called it a dressed‑up version of that car. By putting this out before The Gallardo Replacement, no comparison can be made, and later, they can get away with describing the future baby Lambo as the “pedestrian” version of the Egoista, not the other way around. Perspective, and frame of reference, and whatnot.
